Info
This is the oldest of the cider festivals held in Asturias, and dates back to the 1960s. What began as a tribute to the quintessential Asturian drink has become consolidated as a festival attended by thousands of people every year, and is held in the middle of the summer.
This festival, in which there is a cider and cider pouring competition, has numerous activities linked to the world of apples and cider, and Asturian culture and traditions, and renews its programme year after year.
The place where it is held, Nava, is one of the Asturian cider production capitals, and there you will find producers and cider makers with both classic and modern facilities. Moreover, this town in the Cider Region is well known in and outside Asturias for being the home of the Cider Museum, where you can learn about the world and culture of cider in an entertaining and interactive way, from its beginnings to the present day.
